GLENMONT-Richard C. Hummel, Sr., 76, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at Albany Medical Center after a long hard fight.
Born in Schenectady and a graduate of Bethlehem High School, he was the son of the late William and Vera (Conrad) Hummel. Richard was a carpenter and worked for Harold Geurtze and Son in Delmar for 35 years. He was also the Maintenance Supervisor for the Town of Bethlehem for 15 years.
ALBANY-Patricia A. (Riley) McGraw, 70, died suddenly Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Zeccola) Riley.
RENSSELAER- Viola (Puckett) Baker, 77, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at her home.
Born in Carlisle, NY and educated in Cobleskill she was the daughter of the late Noah and Belva (Burling) Puckett.
GLOVERSVILLE-Paul E. Osborne, 70, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, after a brief illness.
DELMAR – Michael J. Taub, 58, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 with his wife by his side. His long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease may have claimed his body, but did not take away the spirit in which he lived. Born in 1958 to Eleanor (Shayevitz) and Arthur Taub, Michael and his partner Frank Allen successfully ran and operated Allen and Taub Plumbing and Heating for 25 years .Michael was a hard-working, honest and kind individual. His customers always came first. Not only did he enjoy the work that he did, he found much joy in the conversations (and sometimes sweet treats) that followed. Michael found the most pleasure in spending time with his family and friends. Many years were spent proudly watching his oldest daughter pitch a softball game and his youngest grasp a ribbon in an equestrian event. He loved Sunday dinners, backyard barbecues, holidays, playing ball with his furry friend “Maicee” and most of all his time spent on Cape Cod.
DELMAR-Lillian (Sinnamon) Blanchard, our mother, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was 93.
She was born in 1923 at home, to parents John A. and Veronica S. (Leonard) Sinnamon in Oswego, NY.
ALBANY- Joseph F. Fedele, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Born in Rensselaer he was the son of the late John and Angelina (D’Amore) Fedele. He owned and operated the Port of Albany Grocery Store for over 30 years retiring in 1992.
