Dear Eileen and family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. I am so happy that I was able to meet her and share a laugh or two. She was a wonder! God Bless you and keep you.

Although, I am a fledgling to the Flanagan family, getting to know our beloved Ellen has been a beautiful gift I never imagined possible. From the very first moment we met, I felt a cherished bond with her, as if I’d known her my entire life. I will forever treasure her kindness and how she provided solace, and lovingly welcomed me into a family I had never known existed. I will be forever grateful for our phone conversations, letters, and time spent together, in Albany, Los Angeles, New York City, and, above all, my most precious moments with her in Ireland. I will be eternally grateful for the love, amazing spirit, quick wit, and humor, that was Ellen, and I will hold dear the time I had her in my life. She will be sorely missed!
Rest In Peace, My Dearest Ellen!
I am very sorry to hear of Aunt Ellen’s passing. I only met her a couple of times over the years. (Barbara’s daughter -in-law) I wish I could have spent more time getting to know her as well as the rest of the family. I know my daughter Taylor just saw her recently as well as meeting up with family that she had only met years ago when she was very young. You all made a wonderful impression on her. She was so happy to get to know her extended family in New York and hopes to keep in touch.
I’m sure Aunt Ellen is in a better place reuniting with family and friends that have passed before her. Rest in Peace.
To Ellen’s family.I met Ellen in the 4th grade at Cathedral Academy. We became fast friends right through high school. I always hoped Ellen would show for the yearly Cathedral reunions when we laughed and talked about the good old days. Ellen was a special friend and a person who was warm and caring. I have lived in CT for over 40 years so we have not seen much of each other but she traveled to CT to visit me when I had lung cancer surgery. How special was that? I will keep Ellen and all of you in my prayers. I know she will be missed. Hugs, DoraineDoraine Wall Riley, Old Saybrook, CT
