Burke, Sister Kathleen D.C.
Every Monday for a couple of years I would pick up
Sr. Kathleen so that she could attend with me an Alanon group meeting at a local Catholic church. She was such pleasant company, and we would have wonderful conversations traveling back and forth from the meeting. Others at Alanon loved Sr. Kathleen because she always had a smile and gave the best hugs! One time, sister asked me to take her to a store to make a purchase. We had the most fun finding what she needed and laughed together the entire time. I am sorry that Sr. Kathleen has passed. She was a lovely, gentle woman who spoke lovingly of her family and especially of happy times at the lake.
On behalf of Father Champlin’s Guardian Angel Society, our sincere condolences to the family and community for the loss of Sr. Kathleen. We are grateful for her support to the Society and will be remembered dearly as an alum of Cathedral Academy, Class of 1960.Kathy Fedrizzi, Executive Director, Syracuse
