Dear Marty, I just received an email from Suzie informing us of Charlie’s death. I didn’t know he was ill. I am so sorry, Charlie was such a good, kind guy! You summed his life up so well- he was definitely his own person; he did it his way!
I’m sure you’re greatly feeling this loss of your brother. He was too young to pass. He will be missed by those who knew him.
Again, my most heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
Dear Marty and the family of Charlie,
I met Charlie several times playing golf at Sycamore, but even in that short time it was clear that he was a quiet, kind, and introspective soul.
So sorry for your loss of so close a brother and lifetime friend. Someone who tracked you all your life. But with that long history, you must have a storehouse of grand memories.Kevin Donovan, Delmar
Jake and I are so sorry to hear about Charlie. The obituary was beautiful—it really captured our memories of him. Charlie was his own man and he was lucky to have a brother who fully appreciated him.
Our love to you,

We haven’t seen Charlie in years, but we still think about him fondly. So sorry to hear about his passing. He was indeed a unique individual and very comfortable in his own skin.
