Albany- Barbara Mokhiber Harrington, 75, passed away quickly on February 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. A native of Albany, she was the daughter of Norman and Marion Mokhiber. Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, Mrs. Harrington is survived by her husband, Dr. George Harrington, daughter, Dr. Alexandra Harrington, and son-in-law, Onchan “Bob” Inkhamfong, Esq., cherished family dog, Churchill, brother, Mr. Norman Mokhiber, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Harrington served as an assistant in the Office of the Attorney General of New York, the State University of New York, and the SUNY Research Foundation. Mrs. Harrington was an accomplished cook, baker and avid gardener, who loved travel, art history, photography, arts, animals, writing and volunteerism. She was a proud member of the Junior League of Albany and served as past president of the St. Peter’s Hospital Auxiliary.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Monday, March 4 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 5 at 10:00 am in the Convent of Mercy Chapel, 634 New Scotland Ave.,Albany. Interment will follow the Mass in Graceland Cemetery, Albany
In lieu of flowers, those interested are asked to send donations in Mrs. Harrington’s memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Queen of Peace Residence, to the attention of Mother Celine Therese
ALBANY- Charlotte M. Rider passed away at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital on Sunday, February 24, 2019.
Charlotte was born in the South End of Albany in 1923 to parents Harry Thomas and Jennie Kearney Rider.
Charlotte worked for Williams Press in Menands as a copy holder for 33 years, and retired from the New York State Thruway Authority after 12 years of service.
Charlotte is survived by her life time friend Jacqueline Fischer whose family opened their hearts and home when Charlotte lost her parents.She is also survived by several cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her brother Harry Brayton Rider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 27 at 12:00 noon at the Parish of Mater Christi.Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the Mass in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. from 10:00-11:30 am. Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.

Menands- Mary Alice E. Tabakian, 65, of Menands, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of George T. and Elizabeth (O’Donnell) VanDerhyden.
Mary Alice was a Registered Nurse for over 25 years at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany following that she was a Nursing Supervisor at Albany County Nursing Home in Colonie for 10 years.
She is survived by her loving husband Glenn, her four cherished children Glenn J. (Anne) Tabakian, Alexandra Tabakian, Arthur (Jessica) Tabakian and Jeffrey (Angela) Tabakian as well as her 7 adored grandchildren: Isabella, Ava, Madeline, Emily, Nora, Lance and Frances. She is also survived by her siblings Kristin (Anthony) Bruno, Virgine “Pinky” (Marvin) Wulf, her sister in law Marianne VanDerhyden and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother George T. VanDerhyden.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday February 25, 2019 from 4-7 pm at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany.
Funeral services for Mary Alice will be celebrated on Tuesday February 26 at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Fr. John Tallman officiating.

CLIFTON PARK - William J. Daubney, 72, of Clifton Park, passed into the arms of the Lord on February 10, 2019. The son of John and Virginia Daubney, Bill was born in Troy, NY. He spent most of his young years in Cohoes, and graduated from Philip Schuyler High School in Albany.
Bill had over 30 years of experience as an award-winning salesman for companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Lever Brothers, General Mills, and Grand Furniture. For over 20 years Bill was a bartender at Sam's Italian-American Restuarant, where he enjoyed time with family and friends. In his retirement Bill authored four books including three novels and a short-story. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being a proud Grampy, talking to friends, traveling to Ireland, watching baseball, playing whiffle ball, eating good food, sharing stories, and dancing. Bill will always be remembered for his unconditional generosity and great hugs.
SLINGERLANDS – David J. Buckley, 81, passed away Friday, February 08, 2019. Born and educated in Albany, he was the son of the late David and Helen (Norton) Buckley. He served in the NY National Guard right out of high school.
Mr. Buckley retired as a bus driver for North Colonie Schools after 25 years of service. He had a passion for driving campers, cars, RV’s, and tractor trailers. He also volunteered with the Boy Scouts. Mr. Buckley was devoted to his Church and was a Communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi.
ALBANY- Ellen (Hall) Burke, 72, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Ruth E. (Brooks) Hall.
Ellen worked at SUNY Albany for over 45 years and was the local and regional Chairperson for CSEA Women’s Committee. She also operated a booth at Artique in Clifton Park for many years. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
SELKIRK- Barry J. Romano, 66, of Selkirk passed away on February 1, 2019 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Jerome and Edith (Greeley) Romano.
Barry was a dedicated employee of the Albany Housing Authority from 1981-2010 where he retired as the Deputy Director.He proudly served on the HAIGROUP Board of Directors for over 20 years and was the longest appointed Chairman of the Board to date.He learned his strong work ethic at a very young age from his Mother and Father, and through the years he was a loving protective big brother to his sister Gloria.
ALBANY - Albert Joseph Lubbe, passed away Monday, February 04, 2019 at the Teresian House. Born in Farrell, PA he was the son of the late Carl and Clara (Kuethe) Lubbe. Mr. Lubbe grew up in NYC from the age of 8 before moving with his wife, Mary Lu, to Albany in 1958. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War serving in Japan and Korea. Mr. Lubbe was a salesman for Mohawk Hospital Equipment, Inc. based in Utica until his retirement in 1994. He continued on the Board of Directors until 2010.
