Burke, Ellen R.

February 8, 2019

Dear John, Scott and all my nieces and nephews , Ellen entered my life many long years ago.  She started as a dear friend and then my beloved sister in law.  Though she may no longer be here with us please know she will never be out of my heart.
If I could say one last thought to her it would be to thank her for the love and joy she gave my brother and family. Until we all see one another again in heaven, sleep in peace Ellen.  I will love you and miss you always.          Nancy

So sorry for your loss,  your mom was such a sweet lady. She lived you all so much all the stories she would tell with a spark in her eye and a smile, that’s how I will remember her. We are praying for you and your family

Looking at Ellen’s picture, she is as warm and beautiful as I remember. I will miss her forever. Sorry for your loss but heaven gained another angel.  She will watching over all of you.

My sincere condolences go to the family at this trying time. There is a Bible passage that comforts me greatly. Jesus promised he will resurrect our loved ones. John 5: 28 and 29. When earth becomes the place of peace Jesus talked about at Matthew 5:5, then we will live the promise of everlasting peace. Psalm 37:29. We have a promise from God at Revelation 21:3,4. There will be no more death and pain. There is more comfort to be read about in God’s Word, the Bible concerning the resurrection and reuniting with our loved ones. May God’s peace be yours. Isaiah 26:4.

Vee Manc,

My deepest sympathy to you.  I worked with Ellen at the School of Social Welfare and she was a delight!  Not only did she excel at the work, she also was a bright spot in each day with her upbeat and can-do approach,

Ellen was a special person and my thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

I was so sad to hear of Ellen’s passing.  She worked at Channel 13 with me & was always buying Avon products from me!  We grew to be good friends & I made several trips to her house delivering “goodies”.  I would stay for quite awhile just talking & feeling quite welcome.  She was such a sweet lady.  May she rest in peace.
