Antenucci, Jeannette L.

ALBANY-Jeannette L. (Barber) Antenucci, 85, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her son’s home. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Frances (Rion) Barber. She lived in Hensonville, NY as a youngster and was a graduate of Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School. Mrs. Antenucci and her family opened their home to many children throughout the years. She had also worked for a time as an accounting clerk at Orange Motors. She was member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed working on ceramics and was an avid reader and gardener. She was well known for her Thursday night Italian dinners for family and friends.

Beloved wife of 62 years of Robert C. Antenucci, Sr.; mother of Robert C. (Sue) Antenucci, Jr. of Newbern, NC, Marvin W. (Christine) Antenucci of Albany, Mark E. (Carolyn) Antenucci of Smyrna, GA and Katherine Anne Keck of Albany; grandmother of Alyssa Antenucci, Anne-Marie DeRusso and Angelina DeRusso; sister of Hervey A. (Beverly) Barber of Hensonville, NY, the late Charlotte Barber and Marvin Wesley Barber who was killed in action in Korea.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10 am in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 57Hurlbut St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490Delaware Ave., Albany on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
