Archer, Nedra Jane

ALBANY- Nedra Jane Archer, 83, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Helen (Patton) Archer.Miss Archer was a graduate of Albany Academy for Girls, Class of 1949. She was a homemaker and long time member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Helen Simpson and her sister-in-law, Louise J. Archer. She is survived by her brother, Howard P. Archer of Louisville, KY; nephew, Howard W. Archer of Louisville; niece, Laurel Louise (Don) Waters of Bloomington, IN; great-nephew, Eric Curtis (Kristina) Westfall of Bloomington; great-niece, Bridgette Nichole (Evan) Love of Plainfield, IN; two great-great-nieces, Audrey Adelynn Westfall and Lucy Bell Love; trusted neighbors and caregivers Al Gran and Rita Septer from next door.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in Albany Rural Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Avenue, Menands, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and are welcome to meet at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Monday at 10:30 a.m. to form a procession to the cemetery.
