ALBANY- Barbara A. (Fausel) DeGoey, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 20, 2025.
Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Barbara Fausel. She was a Communicant of The Parish of Mater Christi. Predeceased by her husband Thomas C. DeGoey and her sister Joan VanBeusichem; she is survived by her children Michael T. DeGoey (Kathleen) of Fairport, NY and Lisa VanWormer of Delanson; grandchildren Sarah DeGoey (Patrick Lynch), Rebecca VanWormer, Patrick DeGoey and Emily Fisher (Cody); great grandchild Ellie Fisher; her niece Lynn Larrabee (David), and nephew Bill VanBeusichem (Rhonda).

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday May 28th from 10am to 10:30am at The Parish of Mater Christi Church, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northeastern New York Chapter, 1003 Loudon Road, Cohoes, NY 12047 (alz.org/Northeastern).
