ALBANY- John A. Best born June 11, 1950 in Bronx, NY, relocated to the Albany area in 1992 passed away peacefully on August 26, 2016.

John is lovingly remembered by his friends and “family” at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services and Center for Disabilities Services. John never missed an opportunity for a good “ CUP OF JOE ” and a cookie or two. He loved listening to music and could often be found singing and humming. On a blazing sunny day, if you were quick, you would see John slipping out into the courtyard to soak up the sun and heat. On a cold winter day, he would be found sitting by a hot radiator, or sneaking off to his bedroom to a toasty bed. John loved getting out and about, eating a good home cooked meal and enjoyed vacationing. John lived with Catholic Charities Disabilities Services since 1992. He touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.

All are invited to his funeral service on Wednesday at 10 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.
