Bowe, Ruth A.

DELMAR – Ruth A. Bowe, entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of Henrietta M. Osborn and Joseph J. Bowe.

Upon graduation she was employed by Sterling Drug Pharmaceuticals where she worked for 43 years, retiring in 1985. Ruth was a life-long member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Albany.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her brother Joseph M. Bowe. She is survived by her god-son Frank Cramer (Eileen) and dear friends David and Patricia Eames.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Norman E. Dascher Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave. Albany from 10:00 am prior to her funeral service at 11 am. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or School, 75 Whitehall Rd, Albany, NY 12209. Interment will take place in the Spring in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont.
