Bowe, Ruth M.

GUILDERLAND- Ruth M. (Creed) Bowe, 90, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Teresian House. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Alida (Domery) Creed. Mrs. Bowe was a graduate of the former St. Ann’s School and attended the College of Saint Rose. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital-Nurses Service for more than 25 years.

Mother of Kathleen Sacks and her husband, Kevin of Guilderland; grandmother of Kevin M. (Gabrielle) Sacks of E. Greenbush; great-grandmother of Joseph and Stella Sacks. She was predeceased by her siblings, Helen Smith, Mildred Smedes, Mary Lennon, John Creed and Joseph Creed.

The family would like to thank the Teresian House especially the staff on 2B, for all their kindness and support.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
