Brenner, Carol L.

ALBANY- Carol L. (Knecht) Brenner, 90, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born in Montpelier, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Alma (Klinksick) Knecht. Mrs. Brenner was a graduate of Bishop Memorial III Hospital Nursing School in Pittsfield, MA.She worked as a Staff RN and a private duty nurse at the Albany Medical Center, retiring in 1990.She was a baseball enthusiast and an avid fan of the NY Yankees.

Mother of Dawn Lossi of Albany and Claudia Brenner of Clifton Park; sister ofMyrtle Cook of Montpelier, OH, Esther Witko of Fairfield, CT and Robert Knecht of Pasco, WA; devoted grandmother of Richard Long, James Long, Stephen Chamberlin, Clinton Preston III, Trisha Lossi and Mary Lossi Fitzgerald; great-grandmother of John and Samantha Fitzgerald and Lucas Chamberlin; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
