Carpenter, Bethaney L.

MARIAVILLE- Bethaney L. (Fox) Carpenter, 45, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Hospice Inn of St. Peter’s Hospital. She fought an 18 month battle and courageously endured many treatments and operations. Beth’s positivity will serve as an inspiration to her family, friends and strangers alike for years to come. Born in Albany to Verna (Wesselmann) Fox of Clifton Park and the late John R. Fox, Sr. Bethaney attended Averill Park Schools and was a graduate of Columbia High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany. At the time of her passing, Bethaney was a logistics coordinator for Policy Research Associates in Delmar where she had worked for the past 22 years. She was highly organized, cheerful and dedicated to her job. Bethaney was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit and enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling. Her greatest joy was being a devoted wife to Dan and mother to Jaclyn.

In addition to her mother, Bethaney is survived by her devoted husband Daniel P.Carpenter and her cherished daughter Jaclyn Cassidy Carpenter; her siblings John R. (Lisa) Fox, Jr. of Lake George, Diane (Richard) Wink of Springfield, VA, and Kim (Joel) Weiss of Glenville; her in-laws, Karen M. Carpenter of Glenville and Timothy J. Carpenter of Mariaville; her brother-in-law, Timothy J. Carpenter of Fort Myers, Fl,; 7 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 9 a.m. in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 57 Hurlbut St. Albany. Burial will follow in Albany Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family Friday, July 17, 2015 from 3-7p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany.
