ALBANY- Ann Choppa, 91, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Criscone) Choppa she was a graduate of Phillip Schuyler High School. Miss Choppa worked for Sterling Winthrop for 42 years, retiring in 1984. She was a 50 year member of the Sterling Bridge Club and an avid bowler. She enjoyed crossword and puzzles and also traveling, having made several trips to Italy. She is survived by her two brothers John P. Choppa of Albany and Lawrence Cioppa of NYC; Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Choppa and her sister Angela Glinski.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 8, 2014 at 10:30 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30am. Interment will follow the service in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
