Courcelle, Anthony M. Jr.

ALBANY- Anthony M. Courcelle, Jr., 67, died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Albany, Tony was the son of the late Anthony M. Courcelle, Sr. and was a graduate of the former Philip Schuyler High School and Hudson Valley Community College. He retired as Captain with the Albany County Sheriff’s Department after 26 years of service.

Tony was the beloved husband of the late Winifred “Sissy” (Simmons) Courcelle and devoted father of the late Christine Courcelle. He is survived by his children Stephanie and Anthony III; grandchildren Patrick, Michael, Vanessa, Anthony and Nina; his brother Marc Courcelle and many brothers and sisters-in-law and friends.

Following his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
