Daniel G. Zeccolo, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 24, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. Lovingly known as “Danny Z,” he was a beloved father, grandfather, partner, and friend. He will be remembered for his humor, unforgettable stories, love of football, and passion for poker.
Danny proudly worked for Teamsters Local 294 for 50 years. For 13 years, he shared his life with his beloved partner, Brenda Gausby. Together, they created cherished memories and became a treasured part of each other’s families.
He is survived by his daughters, Bettina Mamone and Nikki Zeccolo; grandchildren, Gianna Mamone and Luca Stanfield; partner, Brenda Gausby; and beloved stepchildren.
Danny Z will be deeply missed. His laughter, stories, and larger-than-life personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Rest peacefully, Danny Z. You will always be loved, remembered, and missed.
