ALBANY- Deborah Christina DiBiase, passed away suddenly on June 21st, 2026, at the age of 59 leaving behind a tremendous void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Born on May 27, 1967, in Albany, NY Deborah lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to those she cherished most. She was a devoted mother, beloved family member, and loyal friend whose kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered forever.

Deborah is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent DiBiase; her loving children, Vincent DiBiase Jr. and Victoria DiBiase (Brian Deskewicz Jr.); her beloved mother, Theodora Rantzaklis Mokhiber; her cherished sister, Maria Ziamandanis (Peter Ziamandanis); her dear brother, George Mokhiber (Debra Mokhiber). She also leaves behind her treasured nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted family who brought her immense pride and joy. She was predeceased by her father, George Mokhiber, maternal grandparents Areti and Evangelos Rantzaklis and paternal grandparents Mitchell and Josephine Mokhiber.

Deborah attended Albany High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from SUNY Oneonta. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in English from University at Albany. Deborah dedicated many years to teaching and inspiring children before becoming a mother herself. After raising her family, she continued her commitment to serving others through her work in healthcare, where she had a warm and welcoming presence as a receptionist in several medical offices.
Deborah had a caring, joking spirit that made others feel loved, made them laugh and smile every time they were with her. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories, and offering support whenever it was needed. Her laughter, wisdom, and loving presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her. She was the life of every party and knew how to give everyone around her a good giggle. Deborah found joy in the simple moments spent with those she loved most. She had a special love for her beloved dog Lola, whom she cared for with endless affection and many treats. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed coloring and working on puzzles, finding peace and happiness in these hobbies.

Above all, Deborah treasured creating memories with her family. Whether it was gathering around the table for family dinner nights, enjoying dinner dates with her husband, sharing laughter during game nights, or simply spending time together, she embraced every opportunity to make lasting memories with her children and husband. Her love, warmth, and dedication to her family will remain in their hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Deborah’s life at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church 440 Whitehall Rd Albany on Wednesday June 24, 2026 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends may visit with Deborah's family at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church prior to the service on Wednesday morning from 10 am to 11:45 am. Following the funeral service, burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery. All who knew and loved Deborah are welcome to attend as we come together to remember her life, share memories, and celebrate the love and joy she brought to so many. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
