LOUDONVILLE – Robert J. Decker, 75, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, November 2, 2017. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Henry and Marguerite (Cox) Decker and graduated from Kingston High School. Mr. Decker served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Boardman Ltd. and later for Golub Corporation.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother William Decker. He is survived by his children Christopher Decker of Brooklyn, and Marybeth Piccini of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren Nicholas Piccini and Isabela Decker, his sister Mary Ellen Kowalski and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday, November 8th from 4-7pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.
His funeral services will be held Thursday, November 9th from the funeral home thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow the Mass in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project PO.
