Demaria, Margaret “Peggy”

DELMAR- Margaret "Peggy" DeMaria 81, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late James and Pauline Matta. Peggy worked for the Bethlehem School District for many years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Delmar.

Wife of the late Dominic E. DeMaria; mother of Dominic (Kristine) DeMaria; sister of the late Rose Matta; grandmother of Jamie and Megan DeMaria.

Relatives and friends may visit with Margaret’s family on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 am in the Gathering Area at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 35 Adams Place Delmar. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 10:30 am in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Delmar Volunteer Ambulance 145 Adams St. Delmar, NY 12054. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar.
