Dever Dc, Mary Charles Sr.

MENANDS- Daughter of Charity Sister Mary Charles (Rita) Dever died Saturday September 25, 2010 at the St. Louise House in Menands. Born in Sea Isle City, NJ in 1912 to Ida Mazzoni and Edward H. Dever she grew up in Sea Isle with her six brothers and two sisters. After graduating from Ocean City High School in 1928, her love of Sea Isle grew. One of her great joys was writing a column for the Cape May County Times newspaper. Sister entered the daughters of Charity in 1939. Although education was her first ministry, Sister Mary Charles spent 49 years in the health ministries of Daughters of Charity. After obtaining her degree from St. Joseph College, Emmitsburg, MD and her Master
