Donahue, Noreen M.

ALBANY- Noreen M. (Maguire) Donahue, RN and loving grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Lillian M. (Carlin) Maguire.

Noreen grew up in Albany with her sisters Kathleen and Maryjane, and brothers Michael, Joseph, and Charles “Bud” Maguire. She attended Vincentian Institute and graduated with her nursing degree from Memorial Hospital Nursing School.

In addition to her parents, She was predeceased by her adoring husband, John J. Donahue and her brother Michael F. Maguire, She leaves behind her son and daughter, Jeff and Jill Donahue, as well as her adored grand-children, James, Jacob, and Jordan.

Noreen is remembered for her love and caring parentage and grand-mothering, as well as her infectious laugh, easy smile, and shining blue eyes. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

A brief prayer service will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 6 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit prior to the service from 4-6 pm.
