Dundon, Patricia J.

DELMAR- Patricia J. (Roche) Dundon died suddenly, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany to Joseph and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Roche, she graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names and Mildred Elley. Mrs. Dundon worked for the NYS Department of Transportation for several years and was an avid swimmer.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James K. Dundon. She is survived by her daughter Paula (Jeremy) Martelle and son James (April) Dundon; known as “Ma” to her adored grandchildren Jeremy Jr. and Julia Martelle; her sisters Jean Roche RSM, and Kathleen (Louis) Buff, and her brother Joseph (Jeanne) Roche; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to her nephew, Dr. Sean Roche for his compassion and guidance and to Fr. James Walsh for his spiritual guidance and friendship and a special thanks to Ann Marie Truppi.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 8:45 am from the funeral home thence to The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
