Eleanor Maio

ALBANY- Eleanor Stanziano Maio, 95 passed away on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at the Baptist Health and Rehab Center. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (DiLello) Stanziano and a graduate of Cathedral Academy. Eleanor worked for the NYS Legislature for many years and was a communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi.

She is survived by her husband Frank Maio; children Peter (Lori) Maio and Rosanne Bentley; grandchildren Michael (Erin) , Kelly and Jake Maio and Rachel Bentley; great-grandchildren Enzo, Luca, Abby, and Sofie; her sister Rita Gabriel and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday June 20th at 10:30am in the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. The family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 10:30am at the church before Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN. Arrangements by Daniel Keenan Funeral Home.
