LATHAM- Joseph A. Eriole, 89, passed peacefully from us on Saturday, November 5, 2016 of health related conditions. A proud patriot of his country, Joseph was a post WWII Army Veteran who served his county from 1945 to 1947.
Husband to his wife Lillian (Cafaro) Eriole of 66 years and loving father of four daughters Joanne Eriole of Tampa, FL, Janet Adams, Lora Vincent and Lynn (Mark) Catizone all of Colonie; and grandfather of Christian Vincent, Ryan and Tyler Catizone whom he loved very much. Joseph is also survived by four of his eight brothers and one sister Albert, Victor, Paul and Fred Eriole and Sandra Depp; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph was predeceased by both of his parents, his sister Pauline and his brothers Carl, Anthony and Ralphie.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:45 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc. 490 Delaware Ave. thence to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Avenue, Albany 12208 where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 pm. Burial service will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with his family on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. The family welcomes flowers or donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
