Esposito, Ciro

ALBANY- Ciro Esposito, 79, died on Monday, September 29, 2014 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Naples, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Anna DiPalma Esposito. Ciro was an amazing, husband, father, Nonno, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Alma Tschantret Esposito; father of Salvatore (Susan) Esposito, Anna (Giuseppe) Russo, Stefano (Aiko) Esposito, and Sergio (Stephany) Esposito; grandfather of Nicholas, Gabriella, Jennifer, Alessandro (Amber), Sabrina, Vincenzo, Gianlucca, Isabella, Salvatore, Sergio, Liliana, and Valentina; brother of Antonio (Lina) Esposito, Rita (Tommaso) Carbone, and the late Rosaria (Bruno) Izzo and Carmella Esposito. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and large extended family and friends survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. thence to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 4-7 pm. Interment will follow the Mass in the Mausoleum of St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
