Evans, Gloria “Lenni”

TROY – Gloria Evans “Lenni”, 77, passed away suddenly Friday, September 22, 2017.

Born in Mountainhome, PA near where her great-grandfather, Joseph Charles, a Native American, had lived deep in the Pocono Mountains. She was a graduate of Easton High School, a supporter of the PRIDE organization, a member of Unity Church of Albany, and rescuer of many lucky cats over the years.

Surviving are her nephews, Mark (partner Cathy DeMille) and Doug (Joanne Lichtman); niece, Jennifer Donovan (Shane); great-nephews, Sam and Jesse; great-niece, Lauren; sister-in-law, Carole; and devoted friend, Gina Riley. She was predeceased by her parents, Lois and Clark; brother, Bill and her long-time partner, Jane Olshein.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11a.m. in Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Ave., Troy, NY 12180 followed by a reception at the Hilton Garden Inn.
