Fabregas, Kathleen R.

ALBANY- Kathleen R. (McEneany) Fabregas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Monday, December 12, 2016. Born in Cambridge, MA and raised in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late Carlin E. and Selma B. (Christiansen) McEneany. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her two brothers Edward and David McEneany. Her life was centered around her beloved husband, children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Dr. Ramon A. Fabregas, her children Paul Fortin and his wife Caroline, Carlene Smith and her husband James, Samuel Fortin and his wife Lori, and Ross Fabregas and his wife Sara; grandchildren Shawn, Blake, Zachary, Jeremy, Nathaniel, Lauren, Christopher, Selma, Rowan and Louisa; step-children Mike, Geraldine, Ramona, and Kurt Fabregas; dear friend Joanne Toomey and her best friend and confidant of 40 years, Bobbi Place.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Gibbons and nurse Jan and Dr. Evangelist and staff Nicole and Matt for their outstanding care and compassion.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 16, 2016 at 12 noon in the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany, NY 12208. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or to their favorite charity.
