Farr, Edwin D., Sr.

WINNABOW, NC- Edwin D. Farr, Sr,, 90, of Winnabow, NC formerly of Delmar died Saturday December 28, 2013 peacefully at home.

He was born in Syracuse New York in 1923, and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and was a WWII veteran. He retired from Conrail after 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan M. Farr and his son Rex A. Farr. Survivors include his daughter Kathy and his son-in-law Walter Neidrauer; his son Edwin Farr (Rose); his two sisters Dorothy Cain and Alice Stoughtenger; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Monday January 6, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 12 noon.
