NEW PALTZ- Ursula M. (Kaufmann) Feeney, 77, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 after a brief illness. Ursula was born in Berlin, Germany to Otto and Karoline Kaufmann. As a young child her family moved to Tubingen, Germany where she lived for most of her early life. She later graduated from the University of Tubingen with a degree in business and worked in sales and marketing. While in Germany during the 1950’s, she met and married Bob Feeney and moved with him to Albany. They later settled in Delmar where they raised their family. Ursula worked alongside her husband in their Albany Office Supply business for many years. She was a member of the University Club until she relocated to New Paltz in 1994.
Ursula was predeceased by her husband J. Robert “Bob” Feeney and their son Paul.
Survivors include her son, David (Jane) Feeney; grandchildren Brynn and Slade Feeney; her brother Rolf (Iris) Kaufmann and nephews Martin, Michael and Roland Kaufmann and her dear friend, Fred Fischer.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
