Filipello, Maura E.

SELKIRK- Maura E. Filipello, 52, died suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, September 11, 2014. Born in Rotterdam to Marilyn (Layden) Fitzpatrick and the late Thomas Fitzpatrick, she lived most of her life in Albany. Maura was a registered nurse for 32 years at St. Peter’s Hosptial. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and loved her dog Charlie.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Richard Filipello; her cherished daughters Brenna, Kelsey, Richelle and Marissa; her siblings Thomas (Jan) Fitzpatrick, Jr., Wendy (Greg) Michael, Christopher Fitzpatrick and Audra (Jim) Lee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call Monday, September 15, 2014 from 3-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave.
