Foy, Rose L.

DELMAR- Rose L. (Mastriano) Foy, 89, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. Previously, Rose spent three wonderful years at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge Memory Care in East Greenbush. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Mastriano. Rose worked for several State offices before raising her family. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church where she sang in the choir and was a Eucharistic Minister.Mrs. Foy, along with her husband Thomas were members of the Nathaniel Blanchard Post.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Foy Jr., daughter Shelley Foy Sandora and brother Patrick Mastriano. She is survived by her children Timothy Foy of NYC and Jacqueline Foy (Ted) of Altamont; her sisters Katherine Albert, Jean (Harold) Berben, Lana (Charles) Radliff and Carol (Dean) Pemberton; grandchildren Casey, Callye, Alicia, Matthew, Daniel, and Thomas; her great-granddaughter Lakynn and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with her family Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
