Fredericks, James A.

ALBANY- James A. Fredericks, 63, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late McKinley and Elsie Neava Fredericks. James was a sheet metal worker for over 30 years and member of Union Local #83.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Debra Cato Fredericks and his brother McKinley Fredericks, Jr. He is survived by his children Tavio, James Jr., Khalil, Shalanda, Jameela and Janiene Fredericks and Dejuan Cato; 9 grandchildren; his sister Barbara Ann Carter Pope (Arthur); brothers Robert and M. David Fredericks; also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany, NY 12209. Masks are required.
