Frese, Evelina

EAST GREENBUSH- Evelina (Tozzi) Frese, 87, formerly of Loudonville, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at Evergreen Commons Born in Voorheesville, she was daughter of the late Michael and Quinta (Pistolesi) Tozzi. She was a graduate of Ravena Coeymans Selkirk High School, Class of 1946. Mrs. Frese was a homemaker raising her two sons alone after the death of her husband Americo P. “Happy” Frese in 1962.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Joseph M. Frese; step-mother Marcella Tozzi and siblings Enio, Ezio, Rose, Tootie and Josephine.

She is survived by her son Americo P “Rico” Frese (Andrea Faoro) of Delmar; grandchildren Christian and Zachary Frese; step-children Peter Frese, Gene Frese and Tootie Moran; her sister Loretta Bonafide; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Evergreen Commons for the great care Evelina received over the past five years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 8:45 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc, 490 Delaware Ave. thence to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home, Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4-7 pm. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
