Fribourg, David J., Sr.

COLONIE-David J. Fribourg, Sr., 74, died Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home. Born and educated in Albany he was the son of the late David and Mary (Floeser) Fribourg. Mr. Fribourg was an US Army Veteran. He worked as a Senior Clerk for the NYS Department of Education for over 30 years retiring in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends.

Mr. Fribourg was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Paluba) Fribourg; father of Barbara (Gordon Trombley) Fribourg of Saratoga Springs, David Fribourg, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Karen (Willie) Fribourg-Leong of Slingerlands; loving “Poppy” to Tyler Fribourg, Jason Fribourg and Kylie Leong.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
