ALBANY- Gail M. MacIntosh went home to be with our Lord on Sunday May 17, 2026. She passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her.
She was lovingly known as Nana by her many grandchildren. Second oldest of five children, Gail was born to the late James and Ethel (Dascher) Gray of Albany on July 10, 1944. She is survived by her sister Joan Polak and brothers Tim Gray and Rev. Jonathan Gray. Gail married David MacIntosh November 13, 1963. They were married for over 63 years. Gail was a graduate of Maria College and St. Rose College, teaching and caring for children was her passion. She served at St. Matthew Lutheran School for 60 years, teaching pre-school, kindergarten and as the Administrator. Gail is also survived by her children Kelly McCormick, David MacIntosh and Tim MacIntosh, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Todd and her husband David MacIntosh. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and all of the people and children who's lives she has touched.
