Gallagher, Monica B.

ALBANY- Monica (Barlow) Gallagher, 59, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 after a year long illness. Born in Saratoga Springs, the daughter of Gail (Masterson) Barlow and the late Robert Barlow, she was raised in Bolton Landing and graduated from Bolton Central School. She also attended Adirondack Community College.Monica worked as a Teacher Aide at School 19 in Albany for many years. She also was previously employed at St. Teresa’s Parish and Henry F. Clas Florist. She enjoyed knitting, traveling and giving of herself to family and friends.

In addition to her mother Gail, she is survived by her husband Phil and daughter Tess Gallagher; her brother Rich (Becky) Larkin, sisters Penny and Robyn Barlow; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 9:30 am in The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany.

Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4-8 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.
