Gallagher, Elsie L.

ALBANY- Elsie L. (Reed) Gallagher, 75, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 after a brief illness.

Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty Jane (Dayter) Reed.

Elsie was an active member of the Third Reformed Church; participating in many church activities and volunteering. She enjoyed taking care of her large family, volunteering with many organizations and spending time with friends.

She was wife of the late Martin Gallagher; mother of William Reed (Kathleen VanBramer); grandmother of Brianna Ashley Reed; sister of Arthur Reed, Marion Kleitgen, Barbara Austin, Sue Delgado, Cindy Barnes, and the late John Reed, Ruth Garno, Elizabeth Allen and Artie Mae VanBogart.



Due to current COVID- 19 restrictions memorial services will be held when it is safe to gather together. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 would be appreciated.
