Geimer, Helen

N. MIAMI BEACH, FL.-Helen (Bushnell) Geimer, 81, formerly of Albany, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at her home in N. Miami Beach. Helen was born in Berne, NY to Anna (Schultz) and Elbridge Bushnell. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Helen was an entrepreneur who owned several businesses and contributed much to the community where she lived. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Geimer; two children, Louis LaBarbera of Miami, FL. and Wanda (Neil) Martin of Feura Bush, NY; two grandchildren, Joshua LaBarbera and Terra Martin; her siblings, Emily Walbroehl, Peter Laz and Theodore Laz; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Anna and Ted Laz, her beloved son, Bernard LaBarbera and her sister, Betty White.
