Goodman, Ann “Anna” M.

ALBANY- Ann “Anna” M. Goodman, 82, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Albany Memorial Hospital.Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Marion (Mehleisen) Goodman. Ann worked as an article researcher for Capital City News Bureau for 20 years and retired in 1993 from Verizon-Building Services after over 20 years. She was a Communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Ann was a member of St. Joseph/Sacred Heart Wives and Mothers and a member of the Telecom Pioneers. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Survivors include her son Keith (Carmela) Goodman of Wynantskill; brother Michael J. (Gail) Goodman of Downsville, NY; sister Marion J. (late Robert) Glynn of Albany; grandchildren Luciana Goodman and Anna (Omar) Pietri; great-grandson Leon Pietri; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the Norman E. Dascher Funeral Home., 490 Delaware Ave.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 8:15 am from the Norman E. Dascher Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany thence to Sacred Heart Parish, 33 Walter St. Albany where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
