Grant, Patricia H.

EAST GREENBUSH- Patricia H. Grant, 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Evergreen Commons. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Sanderson) Hanna and wife of the late Richard J. Grant. Mrs. Grant was employed for 25 years as secretary to the executive staff of Main-Care Heating then located in Delmar. After retirement she worked part-time for Key Bank and did extensive volunteer work with the Menands Senior Center, Menands VFW, North Albany Homeowners Assoc., National Secretary’s Assoc. and an active member of the Democratic Party. She was a longtime communicant and volunteer with Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Albany.

Mrs. Grant touched many lives with her kind words and thoughtfulness and was devoted to her family, and will be in their hearts forever. She is survived by her brother John (Joan) Hanna of Latham; nieces Susan (Gordon) Christian, Karen (Brian) Hurd, Maureen Hanna, Patricia Mackey and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, North Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with Patricia’s family at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
