Greaney, Eleanor A.

DELMAR- Eleanor A. (McClosky) Greaney passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Born in East Hampton, Long Island, New York on November 16, 1921 she was the daughter of Alexander F. and Anna (Samuels) McCloskey and was a graduate of East Hampton High School.

Mrs. Greaney attended Flower and Fifth Avenue Hospitals’ Medical College and was a graduate of Packard Business College.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James R. Greaney. Survivors include her three sons, Russell J, Greaney, Colin A. Greaney and Dreux Greaney; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the family plot of Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, East Hampton, Long Island, NY.
