ALBANY- Otis Lee Hall, was born in Albany, NY on May 23, 1946 and entered into eternal rest on December 4, 2022.
He was educated in the Albany School District, received a certificate of construction and maintenance from Hudson Valley Community College, and served in the United States Navy. He retired from NYS Office of General Services after over 30 years of service.
Otis enjoyed fishing, camping, sunbathing, carpentry, listening to music, cruising and vacationing in Cape Cod. He will be remembered for his laughter, infectious smile, strong will, and love of his family, his wife Vera, “his precious angel”. He often affectionately acknowledged family and friends by saying “you da man”.
Otis is survived by his wife, Vera Ingemie Hall; children Otis Lee Hall, Jr. (Sharon), Odessa Hall, Oliscia Williams, William “Butch” Hall, and Anna Maria Hall; his brother Andrew Van Bergen (Bernadette); grandson Jovar Bell: great-gandson, Omari Bell; in-laws, Dominic Ingemie, John and Judie Ingemie, Joseph and Kristine Ingemie, James and Debbie Ingemie, Dina Sanacose, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends. He shared a special relationship with Cherish, Vicki, and Jay Williams; cousins Debbie White and Regina Perez; Mark Ingemie; and friends Tom Keyser and Janet Selke. He was predeceased by his mother Anna; siblings, William “Butch” Hall, Rosa Van Bergen and Ricky Cuff; and granddaughter Shonye Lekia Hall.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, South End Site, corner of Fourth Ave. and Franklin Street, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with his family at the Church prior to the Mass from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
