Hartman-Peek, Kathy G.

TROY- Kathy G. Hartman-Peek, 68, passed away January 22, 2018 in Williamstown, MA.

Born in Washington, DC and raised in Edmonston, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Jerauld and English (Hodges) Oberholtzer. Kathy attended Albany Business College and retired from the NYS Office of General Services after many years. She was a volunteer with the Albany Damian Center, the PAWS Program (to help the terminally ill care for and be able to keep their pets); the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville, the Regional Food Bank and at the Eighth Step Coffee House.

She is survived by her wife, Linda; her siblings, Vida Oberholtzer and Janet (Tom) Wahl; sisters-in-law Pat Oberholtzer and Frances Oberholtzer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott (Barbara) Hartman and David (Beth) Hickey; many nieces and nephews., grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Bernice Kohlmeier, Jerauld Thomas Oberholtzer, Frank Oberholtzer, Norma Cressotti and Elizabeth Ager.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
