Hayes, Anna M.

EAST GREENBUSH--Anna M. (Shackett) Hayes, 92, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Hudson, NY she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Zenoritch) Shackett. Mrs. Hayes was a 1940 graduate of the former St. Mary’s Academy in Hudson. She came to the Albany area in the early 1950’s. Mrs. Hayes worked as a clerk for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for ten years retiring in 1989. She had previously worked at the former S&H Green Stamps store in Albany.

Wife of the late Dennis J. Hayes; sister of George Shackett of Levittown, PA and the late Eleanor Novine. Also survived by dear friends, Claudia and Bonnie; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be heldThuraday, May 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home prior to the service from 9-10:30 a.m.. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson,New York
