Heeran, Lorraine M.

ALBANY – On July 13, 2016, Lorraine M. Heeran passed into the hands of Our Lord with enduring strength after a brief illness. Welcomed into Heaven with the open arms of her predeceased husband Vincent J. Heeran, Sr. and daughter, Madonna L. (Heeran) Rapp; along with her parents, the late Mary and Francis Donohue.

Retired after many years with New York State, Lorraine was able to enjoy with pride the true sentiments of life she shared with her family and friends through her wisdom and knowledge.

Lorraine's legacy is survived by her son, Vincent J. Heeran, Jr., daughters Deborah L. Heeran and Lucinda L. Heeran-Hanchett; as well as her loving grandchildren, Michelle (Russo) Nelipowitz, Michael Russo, Christopher Russo; Sara Heeran; Micah Conrad, George Conrad, Patrick Boylhart, Timothy Boylhart; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Lorraine will also be sadly missed by her many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews of the Donohue family.

As a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and true friend to many; Lorraine will be so greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 3-6 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.

Funeral services Monday, July 18, 2016 at 8:45 am from the funeral home thence to the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Burial will follow the Mass in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
