Herubin, Noreen K.

ALBANY- Noreen K. (McCarthy) Herubin, 85, died suddenly on November 2, 2016, at Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel (McNamara) McCarthy. A Communicant of The Parish of Mater Christi, Mrs. Herubin was a secretary at Albany Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed traveling Europe with her sister Mae, as well as knitting, sewing and reading. She is cherished for her generosity and good humor.

Mrs. Herubin was the loving wife of 59 years to Charles A. Herubin, and an inspirational mother to daughter Margaret Czerwinski (Hank), son Charles Herubin (Cynthia), son Stephen Herubin (Terri) and daughter Kathryn Herubin (Karl). She was a devoted grandmother to Alexandra, Julie, Nicholas, Clare, Leo, Max and Leon. She was predeceased by her siblings Mae Pallies, Jerry and Daniel McCarthy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., thence to The Parish of Mater Christi at 10:00 am where her funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
