ALBANY- Magdalen (Pasquini) Hughes, in her 106th year, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Teresian House. A native of Albany she was the daughter of the late Attil and Katharine (Hausen) Pasquini. Mrs. Hughes was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names. She was wife of the late James A. Hughes; mother of Carol A. Hickey and her husband Edward of Cotuit,MA. and the late Barbara J. Hughes; sister of the late Attil A., John H. and Louis J.Pasquini; grandmother of Edward Hickey III, Donna Maloof, Thomas Hickey, Patrick Hickey, Carol Naughton, Donna O’Neill, Peter Redmond, Christopher Redmond and the late Paula Hickey; great-grand mother of Conor and Maggie Naughton, Kristen, Chloe and Eamon O’Neill, Olivia, Jack and Casey Redmond, Samantha and Ethan Redmond, Asha and Priya Hickey, Aidan, Erin and Meghan Maloof, Jayden and Ashlyn Hickey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Teresian House from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
