Jahn, Ingrid aka Herlihy, Ruth

Clifton Park- Ingrid K. Jahn, 61, born and raised as Ruth Helen Herlihy, peacefully passed away Christmas Eve surrounded by her loving daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Born in Troy, daughter of the late Daniel and Ruth Herlihy, she graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School and attended Skidmore College. Mrs. Jahn held certificates in ballet and musical theater arts.She lived in NYC for a time and danced with the NYC Ballet Company and also lived in Europe and danced with the Joffrey Ballet Co. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Sheehy Palmer Post 6776.She loved her cats and 80’s music and was an avid stamp collector and very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is mother of Priscilla (Paul James) Jahn; grandmother of Michael Jahn, Haley James and Christian Jahn-Whitman.She is also survived by close friends Paul Abaire and Stewart Zavolinsky.

The family wishes to thank the EMS Responders and the Saratoga County Sheriffs Dept.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, at 11:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany prior to the Mass from 9- 10:30 am.
