Janet Rosamilia

ALBANY - Janet C. Rosamilia passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025 from cancer at Shaker Place in Albany, NY. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from Fordham University as an RN, practiced nursing at Memorial Hospital, worked for several decades at the NY State Department of Disability Services, and volunteered often on various community initiatives.

She was the devoted wife of the late Louis P. Rosamilia, Sr., and loving mother of Louis P. Rosamilia, Jr. of Norwalk, CT, Joseph A. Rosamilia of NYC, Peter J. Rosamilia of Gloucester, MA, and Marie D. Lucey of Belton, SC. Grandmother of Ian, Nicholas, and Jared Rosamilia, Joshua and Gabriel Lucey, and Great Grandmother of Nolan Rosamilia.

A wake will be held at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Tuesday November 11th from 4 to 6 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar, NY on Wednesday November 12th at 10 A.M. Internment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
